LTI Integration: Bring Teachfloor into Your LMS

LTI Integration: Bring Teachfloor into Your LMS

We’re excited to introduce a powerful new capability: LTI 1.3 integration is now available on Teachfloor. This feature enables organizations to embed Teachfloor activities and courses directly into third-party LMS platforms, such as Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, and others that support LTI.

If you’re using a traditional LMS and find it lacks modern features like peer review, group collaboration, or interactive discussions, Teachfloor now bridges that gap—without requiring you to switch platforms.

Why This Is a Game-Changer

LTI

Most standard LMS platforms are excellent for basic course delivery but fall short when it comes to engagement, interactivity, and collaborative learning. With our new LTI integration, you can embed all the powerful, social-learning-driven tools of Teachfloor into your existing LMS, giving instructors and learners a seamless, unified experience.

Some of the features you’ll be able to embed:

  • Peer Review activities with customizable rubrics
  • Group Projects with collaborative submissions and group-based reviews
  • Discussions and community interactions directly tied to your lessons
  • Scoring logic and certificate delivery based on learner performance
  • Instructor and AI-powered feedback mechanisms
  • Custom forms, quizzes, and reflection tools

All of this, available within your LMS environment, fully integrated and without forcing learners to jump between platforms.

How It Works

LTI integration

The LTI integration is available for customers on our Advanced Plan and must be requested through your Teachfloor account.

Once activated, here’s what you can do:

  1. Copy LTI credentials from Teachfloor
Go to Integrations > LTI to find your unique LTI Tool URL, Login URL, Authorization URL, Public Keyset, and more.
  2. Set up your LMS as an external tool consumer
Configure your LMS to accept Teachfloor as an external tool using LTI 1.3. This includes entering the URLs above, enabling Deep Linking, setting up grade syncing, and adjusting privacy and visibility settings.
  3. Embed Teachfloor activities
Once integrated, instructors can select any Teachfloor activity or course module and embed it into LMS sections—customizing how it appears, whether learners can see headers, navigation drawers, and even setting background colors.
  4. Enable grade syncing
If your LMS supports it, you can sync learner grades from Teachfloor activities directly into the LMS gradebook.
  5. Launch embedded learning experiences
Learners access Teachfloor content directly from within your LMS, completing assignments, discussions, and reviews while their progress is tracked both in Teachfloor and in your primary system.

Key Benefits

  • No more feature gaps: Bring peer learning, group submissions, and discussions into LMS platforms that don’t support them natively.
  • Centralized learning: Learners stay within the LMS while accessing rich Teachfloor experiences—no confusion, no switching tabs.
  • Improved engagement: Introduce collaborative learning without the overhead of adopting a new system.
  • Flexible design: Customize how and where Teachfloor elements appear in your LMS—by course, by module, by instructor.
  • Data and grade visibility: Instructors can track progress, scores, and completion from both Teachfloor and the LMS.

Unlock Social Learning in Your LMS

If you’ve been searching for ways to modernize your courses without changing platforms, this integration is the missing piece. Whether you're adding collaborative group work to a compliance course or building peer-feedback loops into technical training, Teachfloor now fits directly into your LMS stack.
