We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in the evolution of Teachfloor – the launch of our new Localization functionality! At Teachfloor, we have always been committed to providing a seamless and inclusive learning experience to our diverse community of educators and learners. With Localization, we are taking a giant leap forward to break language barriers and reach learners around the world.
Breaking Down Language Barriers:
Language should never be a barrier to knowledge. With our new Localization feature, you can now enable multilingual support for your institution, making Teachfloor accessible to learners from different corners of the world. When Localization is enabled, the entire Teachfloor interface, including admin and instructor sections, as well as student areas, will be automatically translated into the selected language.
Supported Languages:
To start, we are introducing support for five major languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Italian. These languages have been strategically chosen to cater to a wide range of global audiences. However, this is only the beginning! We are actively working to add more languages to our repertoire, ensuring that Teachfloor truly becomes a global platform for learning.
Reaching Learners Worldwide:
The benefits of Localization go beyond simply translating the user interface. By breaking down language barriers, educators can now connect with learners from different cultures and backgrounds. This creates a more inclusive and engaging learning environment, where learners feel comfortable and confident in their language of choice.
Getting Started with Localization:
Enabling Localization for your institution is a straightforward process. Simply navigate to your Teachfloor settings, select the desired language from the available options, and voilà! Your Teachfloor platform will now be available in the selected language, opening up a world of possibilities for your learners. (Please note that the Localization feature is exclusively available for users on the Advanced plans.)
Localization is more than just a new feature – it's a testament to our commitment to transforming education on a global scale.
Empower Learning with Submission and Peer Review: Learn how this interactive activity in Teachfloor promotes peer assessment, feedback, and collaboration among students
We’re excited to introduce the Instruction Review with Rubric on Teachfloor, enabling instructors to give structured feedback through a customizable rubric. This feature simplifies the review process with a pre-made sequence for submissions, assessments, and reflections, and allows multiple instructors to review each learner's work for a more comprehensive evaluation.
