Group Submission

Group Submission

We’re excited to introduce the Group Submission activity on Teachfloor, a powerful tool designed to streamline and enhance the process of managing group assignments within your courses. This feature is tailored to foster effective teamwork by allowing students to collaborate and submit their work collectively.

How it Works

Group Submission builds upon our existing Group Formation feature, allowing for a seamless workflow from group creation to assignment completion.

  1. Create the Group Submission: Start by adding a Group Submission activity to your course curriculum. Give it a clear name and description, and define the submission task.
  2. Link to Group Formation: In the "Source" field of the Group Submission setup, select the Group Formation activity you want to link to. This ensures that the group submissions are properly associated with the correct groups.
  3. That’s It: Once set up, your students can begin working in their groups, and submit their collective work through the linked Group Submission activity.

Key Features and Benefits of Group Submission

  • Collaboration: Facilitates teamwork by allowing students to work together on assignments and submit as a group.
  • Efficiency: Streamlines the submission process, requiring only one group member to submit on behalf of the entire group.
  • Organization: Helps manage group dynamics effectively, ensuring clear roles and contributions within each group.
  • Unified Feedback: Provides feedback to all group members, promoting a collective learning experience.

With Group Submission, Teachfloor offers a comprehensive solution for managing group-based assignments, empowering educators to create engaging and collaborative learning experiences.

We're excited to see how you leverage this new feature to transform your classroom into a dynamic hub of teamwork and collaboration.
